What's the largest/smallest stencil I can order?

We can create stencils in virtually any size!

Custom Mylar (Plastic) Stencils

We carry sheets up to 94 x 36 inches here at our warehouse! If your design exceeds these dimensions, your stencil will be produced in multiple pieces. Don’t worry — they’re easy to align and use!

So whether your design is 2 x 2 inches or 50 x 50 feet, we've got you covered!

Metal Stencils

As for now, we can accommodate designs up to 20 x 20 inches (we hope to see that number go up in the future, stay tuned)

Adhesive-Backed Stencils

Our machines can cut out any shape that falls within 28 x 96 inches

What if I need help using my stencils?

What materials are your stencils made of?

We currently offer three materials: 14 mil mylar plastic, 7 mil matte adhesive, and 0.6mm metal.

14 mil mylar is durable and flexible. It works for a wide range of applications and is good for hundreds to thousands of uses. This is most commonly ordered.

7 mil matte adhesive comes on a paper backing and can only be guaranteed for a single use. Sometimes it can be used multiple times, depending on the complexity of the design. It has a high-tack adhesive, so it holds tightly on surfaces to achieve high levels of detail. And the adhesive doesn't leave any residue on the surfaces it touches.

Our metal stencils are by far the most durable option. They're best for signage, stand alone artwork or extra durability while stenciling. We cut them from 0.6mm stainless steel and they're significantly more stiff and heavier than our other stencil materials.

What type of files are accepted for custom stencils?

We accept all file types, including, but not limited to, .pdf, .png, .jpg, .doc, .ai, .psd, and so on.

Can I see a mock-up or proof before I purchase?

After you complete your purchase, we'll send you a proof of your stencil’s design with the cut-out areas and dimensions indicated. You can request edits until you're satisfied and sure you’re getting exactly what you need.

Does the size listed refer to the logo size or the size of the outer stencil edges?

If you see a size, it's referring to the size of the design, which doesn't include the size of the border around the stencil.

Sizes follow a width x length format. For example, if the stencil size is 24 x 12 inches, the design is 24 inches from left to right and 12 inches from top to bottom. For custom stencils, don't worry about selecting the correct width or length. We'll identify the proportions of your design when viewing your uploaded file.

Expedited shipping is available and will guarantee order delivery within 3 business days. Simply choose Expedited Shipping at checkout. But note: expedited orders skip the design proof approval process.
